Green gourds abound on the farm every summer, they show up in places we never planted and we know how they got there.
Kenai (our black lab) delights in toting them off and crunching them open. She leaves piles of dry gourd shells everywhere. I have stopped trying to clean up her mess and just look forward to the huge leaves and beautiful white flowers.
Just keeping it simple and enjoying the surprise results.
