The car show was so much fun. I was very surprised that 98% of the cars at this show were American made. I saw more cars that were “home-grown” and “hand-made” than those that were restored just with the dollar bill. There are many creative and talented people in this world. This agua blue Chevrolet was among my favorites. Where’s Waldo?
For years I have waited on this camellia plant. We have moved it, pruned it, watered and fertilized it. This year from a very scrawny bush comes forth this beautiful bloom. Not much in the aroma department but with water droplet jewelery, it is drop down gorgeous. Nature has its own time-table and we sometimes just have to wait. I am really glad that I didn’t dig it up and toss on the compost pile.
One afternoon a few years ago, I left work early… I had “Spring Fever” really bad. The roadsides were having a “Thistle Flower Show”. Between the almost transparent petals and the bluebird colored sky it was quite a play. There were other flower shows that came after this afternoon but I was at work and missed out. I have said before “Stop and smell the roses” I should have said “Stop and take the wildflowers picture”.
