In a run down old building in the heart of Soldotna, AK, someone decided to open a coffee shop and offer expensive coffee and really delicious pastries. Just the other morning Jack and I were discussing the changes that we have seen in our lives. Many things that were “necessities” are now “collectibles”. I remember … I would place the empty milk bottles at the front door and the milkman would deliver fresh milk every other day and that was only 40 years ago. I bet these milk bottles would sell for a whole lot more than the price of milk back in the day.
If you are interested in spotting whales, sea lions, and puffins while out glacier watching, cruise in Kenai Fjords. The day that we went out it was freezing, blowing cold and later bright bluebird blue skies. No, I didn’t see any whales, but I did see an island full of sea lions and a glacier calving. It all depends upon where you are in the day cruise. I think that I could make an application to life but I will let you do that.

Who a I going to be? What will I do with my life? Big question for such a tiny person. So many decisions, interventions and prayers will go into the life these bright eyes will make. Mama, Daddy, GrandDaddy, Grandmother and so many others will have an influence on this life…. Go to God ask Him about the life of your children. It will make a difference!
